Phone numbers can be set up to call any http: or https: link, on the local LAN or the internet.
These links can substitute in the number to be called and the username/ID/extension making the call.
Alternatively, all phone numbers in the system can open a callto: link, e.g. callto:01282798545.
If using a callto: link, you'll need to configure the relevant app on your PC to handle it.
Contact your telephone or softphone provider and ask if they support triggering a call from a link in a webpage.
