Adding a Call Note, General Note, Task or Event to a Lead

Log Activity on a Lead in FLG

Log a Telephone Call, Note, Task or Event against any lead to build a full activity history.


Find the Lead

  • Search using the box - you can use the Lead ID, Name, Company Name, Email Address, Address or Telephone number.

Start a New Interaction

  • Click New on the Lead Summary Page.
  • Select the interaction type from the drop-down - Task/Event/Note/Telephone Call
  • Tick Create a to add a follow-up at the same time, such as a task or email. In this example we've selected create a task.

Log a Telephone Call

  • Enter the details of the conversation in the large box.
  • Use the Insert Outcome button for set outcomes - these are editable.
  • Click Create to add the call to the lead.

Set a Task or Event

  • Set a specific time for the task.
  • Click the calendar to pop up a date picker and quickly select the right day/date.
  • Use + Add an End Date/Time to turn the task into an Event - events have a start and end time, so you can block out a 2-hour appointment, for example. A task has a start date only.
  • Assign it to another user using the tick box at the bottom.

Build Lead History

  • As you add interactions, the lead builds a running history of all activity.
