You can integrate with multiple types of dialler systems, including DXI, Connex, and any dialler that utilises the ViCiDial framework.
ViCiDial Dialler
- You can send leads from FLG into any dialler which supports ViCiDial
- You can also update the status of the lead in the dialler
Examples of services which support ViCiDial include:
- Hostcomm
- Bluetelecoms
To set up this integration, you will need:
- The IP address or hostname of your dialler
- Your admin username
- Your admin password
- A list ID in the dialler (defaults to 999 if you don't supply one)
- The source you want to attribute the records to (flg will be fine here)
To obtain these, please contact the dialler's customer support.
Important: You may also need your dialler's support team to whitelist FLG's IP addresses so we can reach your dialler. Contact us to get a list of the IP addresses we use.
DXI Dialler
You can send leads from FLG into DXI Dialler (this includes Easycallnow Dialler and Difference Corporation Dialler).
To set up this integration, you will need:
- Your API Hostname (if you've been given one)
- Your API Username
- Your API Password
- A dataset number
To obtain these, please contact the dialler's customer support. The username and password you need are for the API, and are usually different from your main dialler credentials.
Connex
To set up this integration, you will need:
- The IP address or hostname of your dialler
- Your admin username
- Your admin password
- A list ID in the dialler (defaults to 999 if you don't supply one)
- The source you want to attribute the records to (flg will be fine here)
To obtain these, please contact the Connex customer support team.
Important: You may also need the Connex support team to whitelist FLG's IP addresses so we can reach your dialler. Contact us to get a list of the IP addresses we use.
Setting Up the Integration
In FLG, you need to add a webhook as a lead type action:
- Go to Settings - Lead Groups - Lead Types and edit the lead type you want to send leads from
- In the Actions section, click Add New Action
- Choose Webhook
- Click the red Click to Configure button
- Choose the webhook type you need and enter the details you got from the dialler (hostname, list ID, etc.)
- Click Apply Settings
- Choose the event you want to trigger the action (e.g. selecting Received will create a lead in the dialler as soon as it's received in FLG)
- Click Update to save the webhook
Some important things to understand:
- By adding webhooks on different events (and using conditions), you can send leads to the dialler only when they reach a certain status - for example, choosing status changed as the event with a condition of status is the value Interested will create a lead when the status changes
- First name, last name, phone number, alternative phone number, address, town/city and postcode are always passed across
- The FLG phone number is passed to the ddi_home field, and the alternative number is passed into ddi_mobile
- If there's a field in the dialler named email (or a variation), we'll save the lead's email address there
- To send additional FLG fields to the dialler, name the fields in the dialler data1, data2, etc.
- To give the dialler the FLG lead ID (our reference number), add a field in the dialler called flgid
Note: The flgid field is required if you want to set up screen pop.
