New Buyer Sign Up Interface
- A new buyer interface is available for partners to sign up to receive leads.
- Enable it in Settings > Configuration > Preferences > Enable New Buyer Sign Up Interface.
- Direct new businesses to your site by adding /NewBuyer.php to your existing URL, e.g. yourcompany.flg360.co.uk/NewBuyer.php.
- When a buyer completes the form, a new partner account is created on your FLG.
Company Details
- Buyers enter company details, including opening hours.
- They create a password, used for their portal sign in.
- Their email address is used for notifications and portal sign in.
- A confirmation email is sent once these details are completed (see below).
Lead Type Selection
- Buyers select the types of leads they want to receive.
- Each lead type shows a short description and cost (excluding VAT).
- To add/remove a lead type, go to Settings > Lead Groups > Lead Types > Edit > Show Partner Referral Settings, then untick Allow Partner Self-Service to remove it.
- On the same screen, set the Lead Type Default Cost to show buyers what they'll pay per lead type.
Postcode Areas
- Partners choose the postcode areas they want leads for (can be added/removed later).
- Select All Areas for national targeting, or choose specific areas.
- Once signed in, partners can select individual districts (e.g. NW1 and/or NW2) instead of the whole area (e.g. NW).
Payment
- Partners need to credit their account before receiving leads, by signing in and selecting Add Funds.
- For other payment methods, add the payment manually via Partners > Statement.
- For a post-pay service (invoiced after receiving leads), add a credit limit in Partners > Settings > Credit Limit before leads can be delivered.
- PayPal allows secure credit/debit card payments - almost instant, versus up to 4 days for cheque/bank transfer.
- Card processing is handled by a trusted partner - you never have access to or store card details. Invoices are available through PayPal.
- Partners can choose to complete payment details later.
Confirmation Emails and Activation
- After completing the form, the partner receives an automated confirmation email, sent from the address in Settings > Configuration > Account Details > Email Address.
- You'll also receive a notification email, sent to the person set in Settings > Configuration > Preferences > Send Email Notifications To.
- Check the new partner's information and, once happy, activate the account by changing their status to Active under Partners > Details.
Extras
- To turn off the payment section on the sign up page, go to Settings > Configuration > Payment Gateway and untick Enable PayPal. This removes the payment tab from the New Buyer sign up page.
- To display terms and conditions on the interface, save your Ts & Cs as a PDF in Settings > File Manager, naming the file _Terms_of_Service. This will then display to new buyers when they sign up.
