Notify a partner by SMS or Email

Partner Notifications

Low Funds - alerts sent by Email & SMS when a partner's funds are low.
Lead Referred - alerts sent by Email & SMS when a lead is referred to a partner.
New Buyer Sign Up - a confirmation Email is sent when someone signs up via your New Buyer form.
Lead Return - an Email is sent to the partner when a lead return is accepted or rejected.

Low Fund Notifications

Sent automatically by email, or by SMS if enabled.
Email address / mobile number set in Partners > Details.
To enable SMS, tick Enable Text Message Alerts: When funds are running low in Partners > Settings.
Sent from the address set in Settings > Configuration > Account Details > Email Address.

When a Lead is Referred to a Partner

Notified by Email or SMS. Email address / mobile number set in Partners > Details.
Set up the email alert in Partners > Settings > Lead Delivery Email Address.
Set up the SMS alert via Enable Text Message Alerts: On being referred a lead in Partners > Settings.
The automated email is sent from the address set in Settings > Configuration > Account Details.

Your Business Name and the reply-to email address are taken from Settings > Configuration > Account Details.
The lead type is set in Settings > Lead Groups > Lead Types. You can specify which lead types a partner receives in the Partner Referral Setup.
Under Qualification Details, any additional fields with a value are listed. Set a field to Internal Only (Settings > Lead Groups > Edit) to hide it from partners.
If using Require leads to be manually accepted after referral, personal details are hidden in the email (and the phone number is omitted from the SMS) until accepted.

New Buyer Sign Up Confirmation Email

After completing the New Buyer sign up form, the partner receives an automated confirmation email.
Sent from the address in Settings > Configuration > Account Details > Email Address.
You'll also receive a notification email, sent to the person set in Settings > Configuration > Preferences > Send Email Notifications To.

Lead Returned Email

A partner receives an email when a lead return is accepted or rejected.
Sent from the address set in Settings > Configuration > Account Details.

Customise the Notifications

Set up a custom SMS or email template in Settings > Templates.
Create a lead action to send the custom template, e.g. contact partner (email or text) on event - Referred.
When sending via a lead action, the "from" address depends on how the email is sent:
- Manual referral - sent from the email address of the user who triggers the action (unless the user is set to send from the site's email address).
- Automatic referral - sent from the address in Settings > Configuration > Preferences.
If using custom templates, untick the default Text/Email delivery options in Partner Settings to prevent the default templates being used as well.
