A Partner's Balance
- When referring a lead, the partner's balance (including credit limit) is only considered if billing is applied at Accepted.
- If you bill at a later stage (e.g. Qualified / Converted), partners may still receive leads even with no balance.
- See the Billing Points article for more detail.
Low Fund Notifications
- A low balance alert can be sent to users or partners, triggered when a partner falls below the balance set in Partners > Settings > Low Funds Threshold.
- Partners can be notified by email or SMS (Partners > Details > Email Address / Mobile Phone Number). To enable SMS, tick Enable Text Message Alerts: When funds are running low in Partners > Settings.
- In Settings > Configuration > Preferences, a user can be notified when any partner's balance falls below a set threshold (e.g. £100) - a separate email is sent for each partner.
- Partner low funds alerts are sent once per day in the morning, by SMS or email. Emails are sent from the address in Settings > Configuration > Account Details > Email Address.
- Once a partner reaches the threshold, a flag is set and no further alerts are sent until it's reset - either by a manual payment or a PayPal payment.
- If a partner falls below the threshold after 9:30am, the alert is sent the following day instead.
- The threshold considers the partner's current statement balance and their credit limit together.
Example: A partner has a £50 balance and a £200 credit limit. You want them notified when they have £100 left to spend. Set their threshold to -£100. With £200 credit, once they reach -£100 (£100 left to spend), they'll receive the alert.
Credit Limit
- A good option for a post-pay service, where partners take leads and are invoiced or charged later.
- Allows partners to receive leads up to their credit value.
- They're charged per lead until the credit limit runs out, or until they top up their account.
- Once the credit limit is used, lead delivery stops until funds are available again.
- View credit limits for all partners in Partners > Details - this lists all partners by default, filterable using the dropdowns above, or click Export for a full list of credit limits.
