An introduction to Journeys

Modified on Tue, 23 Jun at 10:01 AM

Journeys lets you collect data from customers in a user-friendly way and save it against a lead.

  • Create as many journey fields as required - no lead group constraints
  • Journeys can be created for all lead groups or a specific lead group
  • For all lead groups - only standard fields can be added (not lead group specific)
  • For a specific lead group - four field types and static elements can be added

Field Types

  • Metadata fields - hold lead information, rather than data about the customer or prospect
  • Standard fields - available across all lead groups, about the customer or prospect
  • Additional fields - specific to a single lead group, edited in FLG CRM
  • Journey fields - created in Journeys, only available through Journeys; create as many as required
  • Static elements - used to style and format your journey

Accessing the Journeys Editor

  • Go to Settings > Journeys in FLG CRM
  • Access is controlled by the Administration permission: Enable user to manage forms and journeys
  • Uses a simple drag and drop interface - no code required
  • Supersedes the legacy Forms feature, which required code writing

Running Journeys from a Lead

  • Journeys are run and viewed from the lead summary via the Journeys drop-down
  • Only journeys relevant to the lead's lead group are shown
  • Access is controlled by the Managing Leads permission: Enable access to forms/journeys from lead summary
