Sending a Secure Document Upload Link
Add a template variable to text message or email templates. Templates can be sent:

Important: The secure document upload link is valid for 30 days from sending. After this, it expires and cannot be used.
To include the link in a template:
- Click Settings > Templates
- Open an existing template or create a new one by clicking Add New Template
- Select the template type and required lead group
- Use the variable: {LEAD_DOCUMENT_UPLOAD}
- At sending time, the variable is replaced with the specific lead's secure upload link
- Customers can click the link to open it from anywhere

Automation Around Documents Being Uploaded
Trigger lead actions automatically when documents are uploaded to a lead.
Example automation scenarios:
- Send a text message thanking the customer for uploading documents
- Task the assigned user to check the uploaded documents
To set up automation:
- Create a lead action
- Select the event type:
- Document Uploaded - Customer
- Document Uploaded - Internal
Important: If a customer uploads multiple documents at once via the document upload link, the event triggers only once per upload session.
