Receiving leads from a Third-Party (Who also uses FLG)

Sender of the Leads

Provide the following to the receiver:

  • Hostname — e.g. example.flg360.co.uk
  • Access Key with Read permissions — found under Settings > Configuration > Access Keys. This lets the receiver fetch your lead group's field details.
  • Lead Group ID — the group you're sending from, found under Settings > Lead Groups > Edit Group.

Receiver of the Leads

Go to Tools > Capture Leads, choose 'From a Third Party Account', then click Continue. Enter the third party's hostname, access key and lead group ID on screen.

On-screen fields for entering the third party's hostname, access key and lead group ID

Then configure the following:

  • Lead group — choose where these leads should drop into.
  • Site (optional) — associate the leads with a site so emails use that site's details (name, email address, telephone number, etc.).
  • Introducer — select one if you're tracking leads from a specific partner.
  • If the third party isn't set up as a partner — click More Options and select a Marketing Source so you can track and report where the leads come from.
  • Click Continue.

Send Instructions to the Third Party

  • On-screen instructions will appear — copy them and pass them to the person sending you the leads.
  • Save a copy. Once you leave this page you'll have to start from the beginning to get them again.
  • Ask the third party to go to Partners > Settings, tick 'Internet Delivery Enabled', and enter the details you copied:
  • Request Method: POST
  • Content Type: XML
  • Result Description XML Element: message
  • Return Reference XML Element: id
  • Delivery URL: https://yourURL.flg360.co.uk/api/APILeadCreateUpdate.php
  • POST Data: as shown on screen

Note: If you or the third party change any of a lead group's fields, you may need to repeat this process.
