FLG Reporting & Insights

FLG Reporting offers a mix of pre-defined templates - see Available Reports for the full range. FLG Insights provides access to the most popular template reports (which can be customised, scheduled or shared), plus the ability to run custom reports.

Benefits of Using Insights

  • Create custom reports
  • Schedule reports
  • Share reports
  • Export reports in different formats (CSV, PDF)
  • Display reports in different formats (charts, lists and graphs)
  • Report on any additional field

Differences Between Reports and Insights

  • Unavailable templates - Some template reports are not available in Insights, including Partner reports (e.g. Partner Postcode Detail Report and Lead Referral Partner Report (Multiple)) and the Audit Report.
  • No print option - Insights does not offer a printing option. Use your browser's built-in print function, or export the report and print from there.
  • No sub-lead reports - Insights does not include reports containing sub leads (e.g. Lead Referral Partner Report). See Reports Summary for a list of reports that include sub leads.
  • Default date range - Insights always defaults to This Month, whereas Reports uses the date range set in Settings > Configuration > Preferences > Default Date Range (e.g. This Year).
  • Pinned reports - In Reports, you can pin a report for yourself or all users. Pinning a report in Insights shares it with all users.
  • Queue reports - Reports that previously used the queue/email option can instead use the Share Report option in Insights.
  • View Leads button - Some reports (e.g. Lead Total Summary) include a View Leads button to view leads from search. Insights does not include this.
  • Referral date - Some reports allow you to change the date basis (e.g. from date received to date referred). Insights does not include a referral date option.
  • Totals column - Some reports include a total column by default. Insights allows you to add totals (and limits) to any report.
  • Email Delivery Summary - The Sent column shows emails that have been sent with no further status information available.
  • Date range behaviour - There are subtle differences when using certain date ranges:
    • Last 7 days in Reports = the last 7 full days (from yesterday back 7 days). In Insights = the last 7 days including today.
    • Last 30 days in Reports = the last 30 full days (from yesterday back 30 days). In Insights = the last 30 days including today.
    • Last 3 Months in Reports = the last 3 full calendar months (e.g. if run on 10 Oct 2018, data covers 01/07/2018 - 30/09/2018). In Insights = 3 months back from today (e.g. 15/07/2018 - 15/09/2018).
  • Week of date and time received - Including this field shows a week number for a received lead. A new week begins each Sunday.
  • More filter options - Insights offers additional filtering, e.g. filtering by lead group using Is not the value, allowing multiple lead groups. Original reports only offer Is the value, meaning one lead group at a time.
