Share existing reports via a link or email in FLG Insights to give colleagues and partners quick, easy, read-only access to live data or a snapshot of your data.

Share by Email

  • Once your report is created in the report designer, click the Share icon in the top right.
  • Click Invite by email or send as attachment.
  • Enter the email address of one or more recipients.
  • Select how the report will be emailed:
    • Invite by email to view the report (never expires) - a link is emailed giving read-only access to the live (current) report each time it's viewed. The link never expires.
    • Invite by email to view until - a link is emailed giving read-only access to the live report each time it's viewed, expiring on the date you define.
    • Send as a .email attachment - the report is emailed as a snapshot of the data at that time. To send a report in future, see Schedule an existing report.
  • Enter an optional personal message.
  • Select whether recipients can download the report.
  • Click Share now.
  • The share is shown - the same report can be shared again via email.
  • Click on the share to edit it.
  • The Share icon in the report designer turns blue when the report is shared.
  • Each recipient receives an email from FLG Insights, identifying the report name, who shared it, and any personal message entered.
  • Delete a share by clicking the Delete (bin) icon to the right - a confirmation message is shown.

Share by Link

  • Once your report is created in the report designer, click the Share icon in the top right.
  • Click Get a link for anyone to use.
  • Click the toggle button to generate a link.
  • Select whether the report can be downloaded with the link.
  • Click the Copy icon next to the link to copy it for use elsewhere - for example, to email to a partner or colleague, or include in a document.
  • The link opens a read-only version of the report, with a download button in the top right if selected.
  • The Share icon in the report designer turns blue when the report is shared.
  • Remove sharing by clicking the toggle button again. A new link is generated each time the report is shared via the toggle.

Tip:

  • Include yourself as a recipient if you want a copy of what's sent to others.
  • The link generates live data, so results may vary if run at different times.
  • If the report is deleted, the sharing link will no longer work and recipients will lose access.

Schedule an Existing Report

  • Enter an optional personal message.

Tip:

  • Include yourself as a recipient if you want to receive a regular report, or a copy of what's sent to others.

Download Your Reports

Download your report results from FLG Insights to manipulate or format in another software application, or send electronically to someone else.

  • Once you've run your report in the report designer, click the Download icon in the top right. This is disabled where the report type doesn't support downloads.
  • Select the file format from the options presented - a format is disabled where not supported by the report type.
