An introduction to FLG Insights

FLG Insights is a full online platform for creating reports you can view, print, download, schedule, or share - giving you meaningful management information about your leads, their progress, and your top agents.

Navigation

The application is built around two main pages:

• The homepage
• The report designer

A side navigation bar is always present to move between areas of the application.

Report Types

FLG Insights supports pivot tables, list reports, and a range of charts. All custom reports start as pivot tables.

Pivot Tables

• A tool for generating meaning from large volumes of data - start with the question: "What am I seeking?"
• Typically use column, row, and value fields
• Support aggregations such as sum, average, or count
• Data can be filtered, sorted, totalled, and limited
• Can be complex at first - there's lots of helpful content online to get you up to speed

List Reports

• A simple tabulated list of data
• A cut-down pivot table with only columns and filters

Charts

• A graphical representation of data using symbols - bars, lines, slices, etc.

Report Limits

FLG Insights is flexible, but overly complex reports can return large, meaningless data sets. Limits are applied based on reasonable expected usage to keep the application performing consistently.

• Pivot tables - 1,000 columns, 10,000 rows
• List reports - 1,000 columns, 3 million rows
