Appointment types are templates that save time when booking a new appointment. The following can be set for each type:
- Appointment Type Name - the name shown in the appointments list for your users.
- Lead Group - the lead group the appointment is associated with.
- Appointment Title - the name shown for the calendar event, and what the lead sees if the appointment is shared with them.
- Duration - the length of the appointment.
- Users - the user or user group the appointment is to be booked with. Note: selecting a user group assigns a single available user to the appointment.
- Location - one of three options:
- Site Address - the address listed against the lead's associated site.
- Address on Lead - the address associated with the lead.
- Other - a custom location.
- Invite Customer - if selected, the lead automatically receives an email with a calendar invite when the appointment is booked.
Viewing Your Appointment Types
- Go to Settings > Appointments from the navigation menu.
- A list of your appointment types will be shown on screen.
- From here you can add, edit or delete appointment types.
Creating a New Appointment Type
- Click New Appointment Type.
- Set the appointment details.
- Click Save.
The new type will appear in the list and can be used to create an appointment from a lead.
Editing an Appointment Type
- Click the three dots to the right of the appointment name and select Edit.
- Change the appointment settings.
- Click Save.
Deleting an Appointment Type
- Click the three dots to the right of the appointment name and select Delete.
- Confirm you'd like to delete the appointment type.
- A confirmation notification will appear once it's deleted.
