FLG Insights gives you the freedom to create a new funnel report from a template, to save time and get to typical management information quickly, or to create a custom report, which can be modified and fine-tuned just for your needs. You can find more information on Funnels by referring to An introduction to Funnels, Create a funnel and A typical funnel scenario.
Funnel reports are similar to any other report so it's possible to download, share and schedule the report amongst many other things. Take a look at the full help site for lots of help and advice which is also relevant to funnel reports.

Funnel behaviour options
Funnel behaviour options in FLG Insights let's you fine-tune funnel reports on the fly to create reports which are perfect for your business processes.
Mid-funnel entry
This option is on by default.
When enabled, it allows leads to enter the funnel at any step.
For example, a lead could follow this path and appear in the funnel report at steps 3 and 4:
- Lead status not in a funnel step > lead status in step 3 > lead status in step 4.
This may be useful to you if an API is used to create leads that do not enter FLG at a lead status in step 1 of the funnel.
Leave and return
This option is off by default.
When enabled, a lead can leave the funnel by changing to a lead status that is not in a funnel step and then return back to either the step that it was in previously or the next step.
For example, a lead could follow this path and appear in the funnel report in step 1, step 2 and step 3:
- Lead status in step 1 > lead status in step 2 > lead status not in a funnel step > lead status in step 3.
Tip: A typical funnel scenario covers this. To be able to return to a step other than the last visited step or the one after, Skip steps must be enabled too.
With Leave and return and Skip steps enabled, a lead could follow this path and appear in the funnel report in step 1, step 2 and step 4:
- Lead status in step 1 > lead status in step 2 > lead status not in a funnel step > lead status in step 4.
Enabling Backfill on skip would result in the lead showing in all four funnel steps.
Skip steps
This option is on by default.
When enabled, this option will show leads that have moved from one step to another step more than one step ahead.
For example, a lead could follow this path and appear in the funnel report in step 1, step 2 and step 4:
- Lead status in step 1 > lead status in step 2 > lead status in step 4.
Backfill on skip
This option is off by default and only available if Skip steps is enabled.
Backfill on skip shows leads as having been in steps that have been skipped.
For example, a lead could follow this path and appear in the funnel report in step 1, step 2, step 3 and step 4:
- Lead status in step 1 > lead status in step 4.
Tip: The lead must move between lead statues included in funnel steps. If a lead moves from lead status not in a funnel step to a lead status in step 4, Backfill on skip will not show the lead as being in step 1, step 2 and step 3.
