Customise the notifications

You can customise the alerts when a Lead is referred to a partner by setting up a custom SMS or email template in Settings>Templates.
You'll then need to create a lead action to send the custom templates.

Example: contact partner [choose the email or text] on event i.e Referred

Note: when you send a partner an email through a lead action, the 'from address' may change depending on how the email is sent.

if you refer manually, the email will be sent from the users email address that triggers the action to refer the lead. (unless a user is set to send in Sites email address)
If you refer a lead automatically, the from address will be the email address listed in Settings> config > Preferences.

If you are using custom templates, you will want to ensure to untick the delivery option (Text and/or email delivery) in the Partner Settings to prevent our default templates being used.
