Email Dropbox

A Dropbox email address specific to each lead 

You may sometimes send or receive emails outside of FLG and want to record these against a lead. You can simply send a copy of the email to the lead using the lead's email drop box address. 

• Go to the lead summary and select the + more options at the top right of the lead. 
• Click Email Drop box 
• You will now see an email address ******************************@msvr.net 
• Copy the email address. (To copy to clipboard, right click on the email address and select 'Copy Email Address'.)
• Just paste in the address from your email to forward, Cc or Bcc an email into this lead,

There's also a general dropbox in your account that you may wish to use to forward, CC or Bcc all your emails to (below)

• In Settings> Configuration> Email Dropbox
• All you need to do is forward,CC or BCC an email to this Dropbox address.
• When using this option, emails will be assigned to the most recent lead matching the relevant email address. Please note if there is no matching email address found, a copy of the email won't be saved 

Notes:

• The emails must be sent from a known user's email address.
• When using Cc or Bcc, the email will appear as if it was sent out through the system.
• When forwarding, the email will appear as either a sent email or an email reply depending on the contents of the forwarded email.

This feature may not work IF :

• A lead has been deleted.
• A user is not recognised.

Main dropbox

In Settings> Configuration> Email Dropbox there's also  main dropbox.

• The email must be sent from a known user's email address.
• When using Cc or Bcc, the email will appear as if it was sent out through the system. When forwarding, the email will appear as either a sent email or an email reply depending on the contents of the forwarded email.
• Using this dropbox, emails will be allocated to the most recent lead with a matching contact email address. Alternatively, there is a dropbox email address specific to each lead.
